Commitment to Conservation and Social Responsibility

At Cregor Adventures, we pride ourselves on taking guests to breathtaking destinations where they can immerse themselves in the unique history, culture, and wildlife of regions few people ever get to experience. But we believe our responsibility goes beyond simply guiding travelers through these fragile ecosystems.

We are committed to sustainable travel and to inspiring a global community to care deeply about the places we visit and the people and wildlife that call them home. Our commitment extends beyond environmental conservation to supporting the communities where we travel. We choose to partner with companies who have the same philosophy as we do.

Frontiers North, our partner in Churchill, is an award-winning and internationally known leader in Canada’s eco-tourism industry and have been recognized by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada as one of the top three sustainable tourism operators in Canada. We are proud that our partner has been hailed as a quintessential Canadian tourism experience by Destination Canada and was awarded Signature Experience status.

Our approach to social responsibility is centered around three key pillars: Environmental Stewardship, Caring for People and Community, and Educational Outreach.

As part of that commitment…

Environment Stewardship

Our partner is converting the entire Tundra Buggy fleet from diesel to electric propulsion. This switch will cut emissions by approximately 99%. As an added benefit, these vehicles are quieter, offering a more immersive experience for our guests and wildlife.
The latest EV Tundra Buggies, has an average range of 50 km (31 miles) per charge, easily covering a full day of exploration in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area.

Three of the Tundra Buggies have already been converted. The goal is to have the entire fleet converted to electric propulsion by 2030.

Caring for People and Community

Our commitment to supporting local communities goes beyond adventure—our purchasing policy prioritizes working with Indigenous vendors and suppliers who are dedicated to social and environmental responsibility. One of the highlights for many of our travelers is meeting Dave Daley, owner of Wapusk Adventures, a seasoned musher in the Churchill area since the late 1990s. A visit to his kennel provides an unforgettable opportunity to meet his team of sled dogs, dive into the history of dog mushing, and experience an exhilarating ride through the boreal forest. As a proud Métis, Dave is a recognized leader in Indigenous tourism, inspiring young people from Indigenous communities to connect with the rich, age-old tradition of dog sledding.
